I thought I was reading The Onion when I came across this story about lesbians being sued...by Lesbians. How about Mytileneans? Lesbosians? It's one of those Champagne/sparkling wine issues.

I watched the movie Primer last night. It is not about cars. It's a sci-fi movie, shot on a shoestring budget, that won the Grand Prize for Drama at the Sundance film festival last year. So, I've determined that being sick really sucks. I knew I was coming down with something on Monday at work because I was just becoming more and more of a bitch as the day went on. I got home and took my temperature: 100.8. Not necessarily a big deal, but not good either. I woke up yesterday with 101.7, and it had reached 102º by the time I caved ( Read more... )

On one of the mailing lists I'm on -- some of you may know T93 -- someone, actually a couple of people, suggested that "economic stability [is] a direct reflection of success in both magick and Thelema."

Now, maybe it's because my own economic stability seems so tenuous at times that I have a problem with this, but it seems all wrong.
