Today, I saw clearly for the first time in...what...24 years!...without the aid of glasses. I got my trial contact lenses in from the optician. This is just vaguely horrifying. First of all, I'm going to buy what amounts to thousands of dollars worth of cameras, computer hardware & software so it can watch and actively question everything I do and evaluate its long-term impact on my appearance. I've been kicked into a cleaning/organizing/decorating mode by the purchase of two love seats for my livingroom. They replaced a chair and couch wholly unworthy of the name "furniture."
