Okay, so I know that when you sign into AIM as Invisible, on some people's IM clients, you'll appear as visible for just a split second when you log in.

So how come so many people have to IM me at the very moment they see me log in? Especially when they have nothing to talk about other than just, "Hey

I'll do that to you on FM, but it's mostly part of shaking MYSELF out of my own isolation. I know I kinda dropped off the face of the planet when things were going downhill with Quel, so I try to make a POINT of waving at folks, especially people in my RL social circle.

Oh, no, not at all! I log in to FurryMUCK because I do actively want to be social and talk to people. Heck, I encourage you to message me on there whenever you feel like it. :)

I've simply stopped responded to people who never say anything but "hi". I give them one warning, then afterward I only respond when they have something interesting and/or cute to say.

I know what you mean about people messaging you with nothing to say and I have no idea why people do it.

I mean, say hello, ask how we are and that's it.
They could at least attempt to make conversation beyond that.

Yup. Im just spending less and less time on AIM. Plus after craptastic days at work recently ive just wanted to be left alone to unwind.
