I still find this trend of remixing songs rightaway rather strange :-|

It's mostly to make the song danceable. Most remixes suck, but some like this, "Woh Lamhe" from Zeher, and "Fana For You" from Fana, are awesome.

Sure, but "danceable" in a very "disco" like scenario, I guess - otherwise the original of this was already danceable.

But what's really sad/hilarious is when they take a sad song, and try to make a danceable remix.
