I was mainly decked out in all lether in my double layer lether kilt, boot and my hair down. will need to see if I can find pictures of me cause lost of people took them. Anyway, I digress. I am trying to figure out if it would be a good thing to try and plan to do bodywork at this one day ( Read more... )

First, do you need site support? I'd be willing to come help out if there's some way I can be useful to you.

Second, I don't know about a microphone. While I've seen that, I personally would find it a turnoff to pay for someone to be using me literally as a demo dummy. If you do go the demo route you might make sure to ask people if they're OK with that before taking their money. I'm sure some will be.

Good points,

I will need to decide if the point is to make money or get known or both.

Do I want to team up with say the Janus Society and work on their floggers. They have a booth where you make a donation and get flogged.... they do this all day so I bet they are sore and could use to be put back together.

I appriciate the off of the help. I would love to have you there to help with things. There is a lot going on at that event and I would be focused on what I am doing and can't always judge the crowd in that state.

yes he does need the site support! this would be really awesome...

He needs a barker as well as some one who helps with set up, tear down and fiddly bits. He has much more trouble talking up his own skills when he's not working on someone... once he is working its damn near impossible.

Hey, it's proper motivation to get out to Folsom, which I've never had before. :)

I believe we have time to talk this out...

yeah... Thank you. having more than one person helping would be nice. There are good things to being in one place and watching the fair go by and there is going out into it. If I remember correctly it is from 11-6 or some such. I am thinking on putting antoher post together for different venues.

For the web geek I am that means I need to update my Web Site and that just seems like sooo much work. I really don't like to do things I don't know... funny that... but I did not build my site and I have not had time to figure out all the inns and outs of it.

I like your idea of listing where I will be and thereby have where I have been...

The idea of asking for demo dummies is a good one. You might try a combination of both paid customers and then short demos spaced throughout the day ( ... )

I like a lot of what you are suggesting and most of it would work great. The Horse stuff I need to work out more detail.

Depending on when Folsom is I could also be of assistance, or even do some (lower-level) work in order to get more throughput for you. I've certainly helped S&M people get their bodies back together before ;)

I'm also a good talker and, once you explain to me what I'll need to explain to others, can give presentations and such. Plus me lift heavy things and assemble tents & such real good.

I've had the tickle in the back of my head to get more involved in bodywork in general, and with you in specific, but (now that I'm finally admitting it) I'm reluctant to seem like I'm riding your tailcoats too much, and I'm also a bit awed by the level of dedication and time you've put in. If you'd like the help and another pair of good hands, though, I'd like to see if we can work together. I like to imagine it would be good for both of us :)

We can talk about it some time this weekend if you like (I've got too much going on this week to do much until then). Thanks for considering it.

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

I feel very loved and supported by you and everyone else who has commented. This feels right. SongCoyote you have talked to me some about your desires. One suggestion I have is to come with the evil one and I can show you on her. Once you get the hang of it you might be able to help her between the times she sees me. It is also much easier to explain while doing than wave your hands in the air, lets prettend and or draw on a white board.

*grins*

well, I was going to offer to be your desk jockey, but you already have three other offers, that are more qualified than I. If you like you can put me on the list, in case the others cannot make it.

I'll even promise not to gawk, like the po' country girl I am in this scenario!

Just cause I have people offering to help does not mean I don't want any more. I would love to have lots of people help out. Knowing people want to help makes it easier for me to feel confident I will not be alone in a booth. I also will have help and support trying to figure out what to hand out and what might be needed. The event is only one day but the time before hand it is a lot.

*nods* Okay then!

We can get together and talk about what you need on Saturday. I will be there both before and after the At Home. Snowwy will prolly be there, too, you know, if you wanted we could call SongCoyote and make this an official planning session?

just a thought,
Sparrow
