So, I checked out a local vintage shop and they had quite a few books I was looking at, but wasn't sure to purchase. Truth be told I'm skeptical of anything dealing with theology or mythology, since they're either so out of date its not funny, or just simply re-hashing of myths I already know. So I'm coming to you

Alexander Haggerty Krappe is one of the great early 20th century folklorists; if you're into that sort of thing, go ahead and get that. It would be considered outdated now, but a useful historical text to have.
I have the Thespis book myself, but have not read it. It sounded interesting, though some of those types of ideas are also considered passé in modern classicism.
That is as far as my direct knowledge of any of those people or books goes. Some of the others do sound like they might be worth taking chances on, though!

I think I am going to pick up Krappe, even though his work might be outdated, he was still good, right?
I'm still debating on picking up Thespis. Maybe if the price tag is low enough, heh. I'm already ordering myself a bunch of Feri books, and I'm going to have -a lot- to work through in the next while. Heh.
