I was really good at math in school and went all the way to BC Calculus. I even got a 5 on the AP exam.

I dunno if I could help via e-mail or over the phone. :(

Wow. I got a 1 on the AP Calc exam!

..of course, my teacher also went on maternity leave 2 weeks into the semester, leaving us with the swim coach as our sub. the fact that im pants at math has nothing to do with it. *nods firmly*

i did get a 4 on my AP English exam, though!

Valedictorian of the Class of 96 here. I R geek. I took 5 AP exams, one of which was at the insistence of my teacher, since I really hate Physics. (funny how I love River so, and it's her favorite subject...) I got a 3 on that exam, and the other 4 I got 5's. It gave me a semester's worth of credits, but it never did apply to my major. That plus a transfer left me completing college in 5 years. Ah, well. I had a great time taking lots of other classes in English and studio art for fun.

*hugs* I so admire you for trying to do this. It's a hard slog.

I can't help with the math, I'm hopeless. But is there online help? Sometimes libraries run online tutor programs which are free, you could try them perhaps?

Hubby has a Maths degree. Would tutoring by e-mail be of any help?

Oh honey - that's so difficult.

I haven't been doing math for awhile, but I'm studying for the GRE now. As eustacia_vye says, maybe we can work over the phone or something? If you can't drop the class - you CAN do it. You've got the determination, you just need someone who can give you some support and assistance.

*offers in any capacity I can*
