So I'm watching the evening news... and I'm pretty sure the weatherman is drunk. Like slurring his words and making really stupid jokes drunk. Either that, or he's having a very lecherous stroke on-air.

I hate this. It's 2:00 am and I should be sleeping, but I'm too pissed off to do so. I have plans tomorrow, plans that involve chaperoning a group of high school seniors on a class trip, but I'm so angry and wound up that I can't sleep ( Read more... ) -

I'm sitting in the waiting room at the Cancer Center radiology area, and I just overhears the following exchange:
Man: D'ya hear about Glen Beck's appendicitis?
Woman: Yeah. I'm sure his doctor is one of them damn Obamacrats. They'll probably kill him to keep him from telling us the truth.

I try not to talk about politics, mostly because I tend to get angry to the point on incoherence when I discuss certain topics. I just don't understand how people can be so STUPID about some things. For example - having to explain to someone that the new health care plan contained a clause that encouraged people to have end-of-life care ( Read more... ) -

Quick update before I pass out - MIL went home from the hospital on the 25th. I went ip to visit her yesterday, and she was breathing 50 times a minute at rest. I took her back to the hospital, where it was discovered that her right lung has refilled with fluid. They put in another chest tube, which drained over 2.5 liters in under a minute.
