ok, so I was wanting to try out a lil violin or guitar before I head back to college and I am trying to figure out the notes. I figured out the chord charts, but if there is a chord where you strum strings 6,4,3,2,1 and push down say strings 3,2,1, how do you skip strumming string 5?
Also- wtf do all these mean?

So, the past couple of weeks have been overly hectic, crazy, and insane. Somehow, however, I am doing better so far than last semester... So my school is offering a winter term in which you can go to Japan for 3 weeks. I really would like to go, especially because I would be able to have a translator with me and then I could take japanese 101 but as a global perspective instead of foreign language credit since I already have that with spanish 101/ 102.
