As previously stated, my surgery took place tuesday afternoon. I was very nervous, restless, anxious. IVs, heart monitors... the usual. I laid in the pre-operation room for almost two hours. I feel that maybe I should update on the past couple weeks. forgive me if it's all talk about work and doctors offices, that's pretty much been the extent of my life lately. 32 hours a week at work, doctor's almost every day off. I broke my break.
so my computer has been out of commission for the past couple days. it's still out, I'm actally on my brothers laptop since I don't have a laptop for situations like this because I'd rather spend my money on shoes than computers. I feel they're a wiser investment. I took the luxury of kind of disconnecting myself from the world for a couple days. ( Read more... ) -
so apparently it does happen.
My doctor called me today at 7:30am to give me the results of my biopsy. The mole on my back was fine, perfectly normal. The one on my thigh was melanoma. I have skin cancer. had skin cancer. For the past year I've been living with cancer and didn't even know it. She said she's pretty sure she cut it all out, but still with melanoma cases they have ( Read more... ) -

Time for a bibopsy!
Today was the day that I had to go to the doctors to get my mole removed from my leg. A biopsy to see if it's anything to lose sleep over. I wasn't nervous at all about it until I woke up this morning and thought, should I be nervous about this?, which automatically makes you nervous. but I think I did quite well. Waking up at 7:30 to go to work is dreadful, but getting off at 1 is wonderful and makes getting up so early worth it. Speaking of getting up early, I can scratch "getting an alarm clock" off of my list.
