What a surreal week. I  guess I picked up some really yucky virus at the DCAA trial. I was sick all week and it ended with a visit to the local doc and then the ER to have tests done to rule out just about everything serious. Blah blah!

Every so often a dog comes along who is made for someone. Marvel was such a dog because Marvel was a man's dog. The emphasis in that statement is "man".  If he had been a male human, he would have lived and breathed sports... and eating. Eating played a big role in Marvel's happiness - a BIG role.

My mother used to say "Opinions are a dime a dozen."  With inflation, I figure they are currently worth a dollara  dozen. So why is it that we all feel like we have to express every single thought and opinion that we have as if we are the keepers of all that is fair, right, and worthy? Well, the magic of the lucky purple undies was verified today. I left them at home - feeling oh so confident that he did not need props to weave. Stuff weaved in Gamblers (lovely set of weaves) but 10 poles and creepy in Adv. Standard. :( I was disappointed in his speed and not the 10 pole thing. Shooter is vomiting everything he eats. Nothing has stayed down for two days.  I was up all night cleaning his crate and today I did not feed him. Waiting to meet Dr. J (who is coming in on her day off) to shoot an x-ray (blockage) and check for pancreatitis.   Something about his illness causes unreasonable eating habits.
