Blaming the media is such a played out, simplistic, and overstated reaction to life's problems. The media gets blamed for everything. If the media reports on something you don't like,or reports it in a way you don't like, or portrays you in less than perfect light, it doesn't mean its biased. Republicans haven't learned that, and apparently, neither have a lot of folks

all I was saying was that the media likes to portray the youth as negative because thats what grabs headlines.and I have sat down with cops and talked to them.I think this report was unfairly biased.you clearly missed the point of my entire post, which you do often, which was you cant make broad generalizations about groups of people.blanket statements dont work.

It's a serious subject and I'm sorry it might have appeared that I made light of it, but I really didn't.

It is pretty damn sad when the majority of society does view youngin's as hooligans, and the remaining portion chooses to criticize the straight edge kids for doing the right thing and making a genuine attempt to better the world. It is all too easy for society to bitch about whats wrong, but the minute someone tries to change that, the fickle things change their minds, because what then would there be left to bitch about? Drama, drama everywhere. I applaud your unfailing efforts as a whole.
