Back and "hunkering down"

Okay. So we left. We drove 50 miles in 10 hours. There were no restroom stops, no gas stations open, no place to stop and eat. Hundreds of cars stalled on the sides of the road, just sitting there out of gas. Everyone was conserving gas by foregoing air conditioning, so there were tshirts and towel hung on everyone's windows. Bumper to bumper 2 mph
