Just a warning.

Went and saw The Happening this morning. Best I can figure, what happened is I lost $8.50 and 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life (with trailers that were equally shit). Bleh.

Equally disappointed for a different reason:

Went to see The Incredible Hulk. The dialogue soundtrack was missing from the movie. After approx. 30 minutes of trying to fix it, the theater gave us the option of seeing the movie at the next showing in 40 minutes, getting a refund, or getting passes. We took passes.

So, yeah, I was quite unhappy with that. The 40-something minutes spent in the theater (plus advertisements and previews), plus gas money, plus refreshments... that was expensive lack of entertainment.

Is it true the film is all about killer trees?

Err...do you really want to know? What if you might decide to kill an hour and a half some time in the future?

That bad, huh? Seems like Shyamalan isn't doing so hot these days. :(

Well, I haven't seen it so don't be sorry. :P

Now I'm worried for his version of the animated Avatar: the last airbender ... cuz man I love that show. He better not screw it up. :/

This is the third bad review I've heard about The Happening. Man, what happened to M Night Shyamalan? His movies used to be good.
