I've had the same problem since moving from Chicago to Alabama. It's been eight years... hell, almost nine... and it doesn't get any easier. Here, everyone's on the Religion kick. Or it's NASCAR... or college football. Or John Deere tractors. There's no one here to discuss books... or even baseball with... so I go to the net for companionship. how's that for tragic. But yeah, I feel for you. I hope you find something. Cause this sort of isolation, even in a pretty place, can wear a person down.
