I had a great time at the Pomegranate Convention and learned a lot.

Tonight, Nadav and I went to SCSU to performances by Ramsey Lewis and Bill Cosby. They were both wonderful. I LOVE Bill Cosby. He is so funny. I'm too tired to describe things in detail.

Today I ironed the fabric I bought and washed yesterday. I also spoke to Reena about driving together to the convention. Then it turned out that there was a problem because I hadn't sent in the Pom dues yet. I spent time on the phone dealing with it. Yesterday I got up and went to my pottery class. I spent a lot of time learning that the tracing paper I had used (to trace designs for transferring to pottery) was not the right thickness. So I transferred the designs to tissue paper. Then I found out that the tissue paper was too thin. Finally, I used some of Anita's paper ( Read more... )

So, the play last night--Belleville--was good but uneven. The acting was so good that I forgot that these were actors. The story centered on a young American couple living in Paris. It rapidly becomes apparent that they are both odd and that they talk AT rather than TO one another. She is unhappy in Paris and is constantly talking to her father ( Read more... )

Nadav and I spent a lot of time reorganizing the basement. He installed a shelf unit in the furnace room and moved some of the things that were on the big table in the main room. I am proud to report that I did in fact work outside. There wasn't much snow or slush so I didn't have to deal with that. I did do some raking of leaves that had accumulated on the driveway.
