I just realized this morning that the life of an alarm clock really sucks. You pay them to wake you up, and yet most people get annoyed when they do. You hit them to make them shut up, and grumpy non-morning people often go so far as throw them or break them. This is very tragic. I think I should start a home for wayward alarm clocks or something.

Wow; that is actually a pretty interesting observation. Mind if I run with this idea and write a story based on the life of a clock? ^_^
