I tried googling, but I got myself confused and couldn't find a *simple* breakdown of what is in this bill thing. .. :-/

Well, that's because there IS no "simple" breakdown. The bill is over 2,000 pages long. Basically it's going to mandate that EVERY American carry health insurance, and if you don't, you will be fined. It's also going to prevent insurance companies from denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions. And it's going to cost trillions of dollars, probably bankrupt the nation, and lead to rationing of health care services.
