This is my final USA post, methinks. I've got just about everything packed except for the stuff I had to wait until today to do. Around 4:30 or 5ish we'll leave for Houston. This time it was a tiny hairspray, spackling paste for my Lacus model, and my mom's pills. My car sold like the proverbial hotcake. The phone rang all day today with people asking for it. This young polish couple got here first and bought it for my $5100 asking price, no questions asked. They just took it for a drive and liked it.  They should be by with the cashier's check to pick it up on Monday. I'm ecstatic that it sold so quickly so ( Read more... )

When you're having fun! Even more so when you have a massive trip coming up which requires tons of planning. Actually, I think I'm doing okay on that front. I just worked a pretty long five days...everyone's traveling back home from Mardi Gras, since we had a huge celebration in Lake Charles this year. We drew some of the usual New Orleans crowd since that city still isn't quite up to its old level of festivities.
