I'm glad to have some regular club stuff going on. It might keep me from having to replace my wardrobe with more girth friendly pants. It's also nice to hear the new music. I got some stuff myself as well. The new Suicide Commando rocks. On the other hand, I don't know why I keep on thinking that Covenant will put out another good album. Just ( Read more... )

Blind, Torture, and Kill is good. I've only heard a few tracks, but ordered it last night from Amazon. (Free shipping, delivered in less than a month means it is worth an extra few bucks over Metropolis.)

If Tawnly is game, the two of us can collect some setlists (which are harder to find these days) and argue over the weighting factors to bring the RIVET boards back! *woot*

As for requests, Tawnly ... make them. DJs will know the music, but they don't know that *we* know and want the music. OK, I do agree that there are some local diva DJs.

have you heard the new Tactical Sekt? I'm waiting to get my hands on it, but they keep bumping it back.
So when is velocity going to officically be back up and running and where?

I understand why it isn't played more. You can't buy it. It's been out of circulation for over 2 years. Though their new one is coming out soon.

But of course, since it is no longer available, that means it is on my list of cds that I will freely burn copies if people so request.

You know, in the big city they stopped playing Kathy's Song years ago.

Or, come to think of it, I stopped going to Death Guild years ago. I guess that had the same effect. :)

I think option two is more like it ... as I could swear I've heard is at The-Club-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named-(Downstairs).

What club are you and Buz hanging out at these days? :)

Well, we go to shows every now and then, and usually make it to Meat and Spin This events if he doesn't have Max that night, otherwise we really don't go out that much.

I haven't been going out much, but for a while Sacto had a nice Thursday night club: Rapture, meaning it wasn't worth it to drive down for Meat.
