Yesterday was Seattle Pride, so we went -- last year we went to Philly's and were surprised at how happy we were, so this year we figured we should repeat the exercise. Met up with ratzeo and sigelphoenix on the bus, and got downtown just as the early bits of the parade were going past where our bus let off. And yay, what a parade. Have applied for a few more jobs (with a nonprofit org., and with a large corp. -- both of them headquartered downtown, instead of in the Deepest Wilds of Bellevue). I've been contacted by a recruiter about a job -- writing/editing a company's internal newsletter.

The commute would be not so hot (zomg Seattle to Bellvue on public transit), but hell, that's writing time, ne?

The salary would be much more than I got at the journal. And I could really use an income.

Think good thoughts for me.

I don't say this as often as I should, but I think it almost all the time.

I've always wanted to be as happy as I am now.

The gods smile on me, and I hope I never forget to be grateful for all these blessings.
