gallon is too big. security only accepts half gallon bags. look it up on TSA. if you get a stupid meanie - and there definitely are some - you could lose everything. better yet, just pack it all.

I perused the TCA website then went and found a small ziplock to use (quart or possibly smalller) and revised what I'm wearing to travel and changed the way I packed my computer.

also, i really suggest giving yourself another half hour at the airport. some mornings aren't bad, but some are nasty, and getting through security can take an hour all by itself.
