I feel the same way about the Democrats, I am happy I'm still a registered Independent. That being said, I live in New Jersey and I can't trust ANY politician!

The whole Christine O'Donnell thing is a joke. I am seriously starting to think she is a plant by the Democrats to lose! How could anyone come off so badly??

I suspect actively seeking attention might also be a factor, i.e. the more aggressive the grab for limelight, the more it burns you if you're stupid/offensive/just plain annoying. Could it be that the demi-slugs you mentioned will have committed their crimes against intelligence and decency somewhere in drab anonimity?
