People in my family pick on my hair. My mom nags the most, but I've gotten used to her. However, it gets irritating when people I've never met say things like "only girls do that". If they know my parents, they'll ask my parents why I'm growing my hair (as if I need a reason), which'll only cause her to nag more at me. I remember during my college orientation, they had clubs set up looking for members at the gym. I walked past an Indian club and they all stopped and stared at me. I guess Indians aren't used to seeing Indians with long hair.
