USF has implemented a new photo security system to ensure that all students can be properly identified when accessing sensitive information.  Personally, I think it's a great idea-I think it'll really reduce the amount of unauthorized and malicious false access.  As an example, here's the pic it took of me as I dropped thermodynamics today.

Managed to pull a 75% on my first Electromagnetics Exam.  And while a 75 doesn't sound that great to most of you, it is such a relief to me, because the day before I felt awful about the exam.  And walking out of the test, I wasn't really sure of how I did.  I knew I had done better than my pre-test feelings had led me to believe I would do, but ( Read more... )

Did the loop today with Jon, even though I really wasn't feeling it when we started. It was so humid and nasty, I came close to overheating several times. Plus it's been so wet here many of the bridges were flooded; one was under about four feet of water.
