Aether Shanties is my favorite album, and I'd love to hear something like Under the Radar on the next album. Those types of songs really get the blood pumping, and are fun anthems to rally to!

Yes to this. Under the Radar, Stigmata Martyr, and Neobedouins are some of my favorite Abney Park songs. They almost always get played twice.

More Dance Epics and more Dance Exotics. Then more Electro Swing and more Airship Pirates. The rest is good too, but this is sort of my order of favorites I suppose. :D

You are so mean, wanting me to pick one. ;)

I love my Electronic Steampunk-rock. Post Apocalypse Punk is one of my favorites along with The Clock Yard. I also love my exotic dance. As my dance teacher calls them, "Those songs that are really chewy." Stigmata Martyr, Sacrilege, and Thorns and Brambles come to mind. Electro Swing and and Airship Pirates give the Exotic Dance a good run for its money. The only one that doesn't really do much for me are the Post Apocalyptic Ho-down.

With all that said, I have to agree with what's been said before: Do it for you and do what you love and the rest will fall in line.

I love all of what you've listed...

But, I would add a further one: SteamPunked Folk/Trad music, like "Stretched On Your Grave," and "The Derelict," for that matter!

For crying out loud, you've got nathan_fhtagn, one of the best fiddlers ever in the history of ever (though don't tell him that, we'd not want him to get too big a head over it!), and he can do the Irish and the Scottish stuff like no one's business...

Your arrangement of "Stretched On Your Grave" is totally fantastic, thus I'd love to see more creative re-envisionings of such set pieces...

Yes, there is a trad/folk substrate and strong strain in lots of your songs that utilizes that fiddling virtuosity (and the particular talents of everyone, yourself included!), but I think re-defining some old classics that have truly stood the test of time is also a great deal of fun.

ohmygosh yes! More steampunked folk/trad! That would be most excellent.

(My friend said she'd love to hear a cover of "Maddy Groves")
