I've been so depressed lately, it sucks.  Maybe depressed isn't  the right word.... but blue.  I used to love running errands... going to Walmart, or going shopping just because I wanted to.  These days, I won't even go to the grocery store unless I absolutely have to.  I'm much happier just sitting in the recliner in my living room and watching TV ( Read more... )

At night I sleep with a fan on for some "white noise."  Usually, as the fan's blades are whipping in the air,   I can hear music in the background.  Its weird, its as if someone is playing music in the other room, and I can just barely hear it over my fan... but its loud enough that I can just barely make it out.  Usually I try to listen to see if ( Read more... )

I went to a Thyroid Cancer support group on Saturday. It was very weird to be in a room with 30 other people who also had Thyroid Cancer. There were four of us that had follicular cancer, everyone else had papillary. They were making a big deal about us "Folliculars" and that there were four of us... I think that the reason that I'm not really freaking out right now about my health, is that I've always had problems with my health. I had really bad acid reflux disease, where I was waking up several times a week and throwing up.
