I feel like I should tell you, while her mom never lifted that ban, the friend I spoke of got closer to another girl who's home she was always welcome in.
This past year, she's moved in with some relatives now and her sister lives with her father and their relationship is growing into the kinds sisters should share.

       My best friend is a year older than myself, and in public school. Because of this, she knows a few kids whom have already graduated, because she was friends with them when she was a Junior and they were Seniors. We almost drove to Austin to see them (we're in Houston, SO CLOSE!) But it was sold out.

I just have to say, while I have this short break  -my teacher had to run upstairs to wash some dye out of her hair ;)- I know of only a few things as emotionally and mentally saddening/frustrating as studying the documents that outline the foundation of my country, while watching the news. Guh. :(

So, a friend of mine allowed me to collaborate on a science fiction story with her! She's a brilliant writer/author (like if Stephen King were and 18 year old girl! :D) So, naturally, I was pumped.
This means that I got the chance to a)flex my original writing muscles, and b)do character studies/ come up with more characters!   We're outlining it ( Read more... )
