Seemingly overnight, as though Nature flipped a switch, it is spring. New York is suddenly beautiful again. Flowers all over Central Park. Trees covered in pretty pink buds. It makes me so happy.

my shoes for Jamie's wedding came. they're hot--red patent leather strappy sandals. really cute shoes. REALLY uncomfortable. so I'm wearing them around my apartment in an attempt to break them in, or at least have them break me in. I came to a realization today while dreaming that I could jut knit knit knit for a job. And this realization totally made my day! It was this: in a given 4 week period, I work 13 days. 13 of 28 days. I just watched the documentary Jesus Camp. What a well done film! I was surprised that it remained pretty much unbiased in its look at evangelical christian kids. Very interesting. Netflix it.
