When we moved into this house (6 yrs. ago), we met the owner of the house next door as he tried to kill all the wasps around his eaves. He seemed to be a nice asian man. I will. I forgot to mention that the trees in the front yard overhang the street and without trimming, big trucks now cannot drive under them, so it may be that the city comes and butchers the trees to trim them back. They do need trimming badly, but I hate to see them chopped the way the city does.
