Ten days into January. Ten days of
rh_intercomm. 40+ fics from 15 authors. It is fabulous reading all the RH fic and seeing writers contribute. I wasn't certain how successful the idea of a fic comm challenge would be, but it is going great! But...

I think this time of year is when a lot of people re-assess their fandoms. It's a time of reflection anyway plus you just got a lot of shiny new stuff for Christmas and there's new progams on the TV that may tempt you away to pastures new...
So we may have lost some folks.
I hope not - it's just a theory.

I'm trying to think of some way to bring in more people, but I just don't know. Too bad there's no way to advertise on ff.net... is there?

Not that I'm aware of. I suppose if you're commenting on a fic there you could mention it to individual authors.
It will be fascinating to watch fics posted this month and then to see what the rest of 2010 brings.
cursing my own fic
I took me 12 days to get Broken Half to a point I was happy with it and it was the first idea I had for Intercomm. 3x09 just hit me with a number of possibilities - one more yet to come with WYG's favorite guy! yay!

That's awesome that you've got so many plot bunnies in development!! Can't wait to see what else goes up!

I unfortunately have spread myself too thin (again) and will not come up with a long fic (unless you count the six-parter as one). I'll be lucky if I can manage a drabble or two before January 31. It's not a lack of committment to the fandom. I jusy got behind with other writing projects and that darned real life because of the holidays.

We shall watch to see if your theory proves correct. Here's hoping!
I have absolutely no ideas for any long fics and only have a couple of short ones, one being a drabble, in the works right now. I'm not sure if I'll have any more in me. I keep waiting for WYG to send more plot bunnies!!
