Excellent review, CONGRATULATIONS!

Like a new baby, even if you are amazingly proud, it just feels nice to have others' objective opinions endorse your superlative skills :)

How cruel, to post this, when we all KNOW it's going to be brilliant, but can't read it until September? I'll just have to fall into one of my displacement behaviours - should I howl like a banshee, or just hit the Extra Sticky Chocolate cake hard?

Probably both, not being mutually exclusive :)

Too sticky for speech, almost too sticky to chew. It needs a health warning Lol

Happy for your glee. Now more miserable wanting to read it myself... There are GALLEYS out there.... I am trying not to think of it. I am trying to ignore this book's existence until it is out. My first calla lillies are out. I will contemplate those and the freesias. We have started planting out basil for our summer pesto feasts... The sun was shining today, but the wind was gale force. So many pots tumbling over. Another reason why you can't grow absolutely everything that you might want to on our balcony (well, weight is another consideration - we wouldn't want to collapse onto our downstairs neighbour's living room)

EEEE!

I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this. :P I don't know when I was last this excited about a book coming out. I have already pre-ordered mine. :)

Why, oh why, when I was a bookseller did this kind of wonderful thing not happen to me? I am so jealous.

Thanks for acknowledging the booksellers. There are still lots out there that truly, truly love books. They are just harder to find these days.

I am SO glad you've had this response from someone who has been lucky enough to read the story (and September now seems an awfully long way away...*sigh*). On the other hand, I still have it to look forward to. :)

(and I'm greatly impressed by all your cutting and pasting for this entry!)
