Dad just called. Before he and Chris left for the hospital, the doctor called and said that Mom was doing much better and could go home. When Dad and Chris got to her room, she was incoherent and kicking her sheets off. The doctor was paged and came quickly. He doesn't know what is wrong, because her blood tests show that the anesthesia is out

More happy thoughts & good energies from here ... temporary dementia is a problem after surgery, especially in older patients. The fact that they recognized the problem and moved her to where she can get more attention is a very good thing!

I am so sorry to hear about your wonderful mom. She is a fighter and we older folks are resilient. I will be back in a couple of days and will come to see you soon. I will be in Olympia Tuesday afternoon for a Drs. appt. for my heel bone spur. If you need the kids watched while you go to the hospital, or whatever you need, just let me know. You home has always been open to me and mine and I pray your karma carries your family through.
