No stress, trying not to be stressed and it's working. It's surprising how much my mood brightens after being able to speak Japanese just a little bit though.

good things:

My host family loves me like a daughter.

Then do it! They'd probably be happy.. My family lights up when an old student they've hosted emails them!

Also, I wish that I had a host family! All I have is my boyfriend's family, and lovely though they are, it's impossible to relax around them.

Ha ha ha no ohmygosh that was just me getting out of control optimistic! I think when I said beautiful, I meant more.. I'm happy here, but I'll be happy when I go back too. There are good (and of course bad) things about both places, so as long as I just keep trying to be positive and excited and passionate, things will work out, ha ha.

Haha, okay then. You don't live in some magical corner of Japan with no horrendously ugly buildings/cables everywhere ruining the view then.

Optimism is good! I have become too pessimistic as I have got older, I need to start thinking happy thoughts about everything again!
