i'm thinking about getting some more education and i'm testing the waters on a graduate certificate in technical writing. the problem is i lack the creativity to come up with subjects to write about. so help me folks. give me suggestions. I need topics. they can be really basic or higher level. i just need to practice and see if i enjoy it

Ummm...one topic that we were talking about a couple days ago at work was the issue of "non-traditional" students and basically these days it seems like everyone could really fall into that category because it's so nebulous. But a lot of universities use it as a selling point for their services.

I dunno, I thought it would be an interesting topic.

Or you could write a paper about why spiders love my venus flytrap and they build their webs all over it but never get eaten!

Honestly, I have no idea what technical writing actually is. I just assumed it was like grant writing...
