It's because I have been thinking about doing it for a while now but couldn't figure out what to send or if I should just wait 'til PAX or something.

About 2 years ago Ryan was totally in the same boat, possibly even worse. He was living in a $250 apartment with no job, no electricity, stealing water from the local laundromat, trying to take care of a puppy as well as other abused kittens, car was towed probably half a dozen times, speeding ticket, about to be evicted, owed some $700 to AOL, etc. I would have to dumpster dive food from Big Lots when my mom got tired of giving him food she wasn't going to eat. It was rough, but you know what? Things got better. I can't tell you how or when exactly, but they're different now.

I wish I had enough money to fix anything that went wrong, but I don't. My goal in life is to have that, so I can support the friends I so carefully select and then they can pay me back by living happily.

If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell me. I'd be more than happy to help (and I probably will whether you ask me or not). You're a great guy with great things ahead of you. Just remember that, and remember that other people know that.

Derek called me yesterday to tell me Brandon quit. He said he didn't know why. This all makes sense.
