When I logged in today I noticed that my default livejournal userpicture had changed from my usual portrait to this weird anime image.... am slightly weirded out. -
Aufie's sprained leg
The other day at Rock Band Camp Aufie got so rambunctious with his playmate that he sprained his leg! After a day of aspirin and a couple days of recovery he is still not back to normal... Going to take him to the vet tomorrow.... Keeping my fingers crossed for a simple diagnosis and a quick recovery...

It's been a crazy busy fall... preceded by a crazy busy summer. I just got back from a very nice 48-hour trip to Boulder. Eating some leftovers I found in the fridge I ended up with a couple of fortune cookies, which enjoined:

well, I've been here in Boulder since Monday. The weather has been pretty fantastic (read not humid) which is great. a nice reprieve from August in Manhattan. the condo is coming together nicely considering that most of the stuff that was shipped from New York won't arrive until next Tuesday ( Read more... )
