Last night I dreamed about something embarrassing that had happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I spent a good deal of this dream remembering what I had been embarrassed about, and feeling somewhat relieved that it was over. I've just finished watching every episode of That Mitchell and Webb Look on Netflix. By far my favorite sketches are the ones about "The Quiz Broadcast," a game show being put on by some of the human survivors of a catastrophe that they call "The Event."

On Friday night I went to a Jasper Fforde signing! This is the fourth time I've seen him in person. Every time a book tour takes him near me, I go. When there weren't any stops on the tour for One of Our Thursdays is Missing that I could get to, I was really sad about it. But never mind that, because this time around I was able to make it.
