No, he was though, and he covered one of their songs. He just finished his tour with them.

me and my friends got called on stage at that show to dance behind tegan and sara cuz we were the most energetic people an the whole crowd. We also got autographs.... Tegan and sara are like one of my favorite bands... He wasn't bad either... and it's weird cuz 10 minutes from where I grew up in another town there is a kid with the same name as him, and at first we thought they might be the same guy... but they weren't.
