Yesterday our great-uncle Leo passed away. He had recently been diagnosed with cancer in his throat, and got very ill after taking chemo. The doctor is still puzzled why he passed so quickly, but hopefully we will get some explanation soon.

I think grandma said her name was Cookie, she was one of the uncle's girlfriends. This was taken like in the late 40s early 50s.

Cookie, Chippy, something like that. Leo was quite the ladies' man, wasn't he? I never realized how much he looks like Grandma.

And I found out that actually her name was Blondie. Makes much more sense...
