Yayyyy subarus! Also, yay stick shift! There need to be more people out there that know how to drive them, so I totally approve that you now know - though you get like 3 million kudos for *teaching yourself*. Geez! :)
Well I was taught the basics at least which I guess is all that can really be taught..the rest is just practice. I just got a huge dose of practice on the first day XD
Yay for Subaru and stick and wagons! Surprised they Outback Sport wasn't offered in automatic, but stick is better anyway...I love mine! And no better way to get really smooth with the clutch than stop and go traffic...damn construction zones! I probably won't be getting anything new until Subaru brings their Legacy/Outback/Forester/Impreza Diesel over here...would much like the near 33/45mpg (city/hwy) on that one...probably 2010. Took me maybe a month or two to become fully competent on hills and such with mine, but Subaru's are not exactly the easiest cars to drive stick either, every one is different though.
I guess there are enough hills in Boulder that they never really gave me a problem. I'm still not as smooth as I'd like to be but I haven't even been driving for a week so I guess I can't complain :P
You were amazing driving through Denver on Sunday! That was so retarded with the Broncos game and everything. And I'm glad I'm not doing band too. My four classes are plenty right now, and that's not including Kappa, flute choir, and maybe a small job. omg. I love you!
