The main problem with my bookshelf is that all my novels seem to congregate underneath it. I've decided to reorganize it and buy some new books because for the past few years I've been living by the motto "be cheap and get it from the library." Sentimental Education has always been my favorite from Gustave Flaubert. I recommend adding Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

I will be home the first week in december. I just finished A Fairly Honourable Defeat by Iris Murdoch and I recommend it.

I started reading it on amazon.com but after I got to page 57 I was told I could go no further in the book. Now I'm desperate to find out what happens but with the library out of its copy I'll have to wait to finish it.

try reading l'etranger in french. now thats good times! camus is a pretentious one, but worth it.
