Platelets are up again (this is good)

Headed to the outpatient clinic this morning for blood work and found that my platelet count had gone up from 20 to 58. This is a good thing. When I was in the hospital they would give me 2 units of platelets and my count would go up to about 20 and then the next day they were back down to about 10. And I just got back from Bed Bath and Beyond to get some new sheets for the guest bedroom. 650 count 100% cotton. My sister didn't bother to tell me that there was a rip in the bottom sheet. The sheets that were on the bed were older than dirt so it was time to replace them

This week is forecast to be pretty nice all week and approaching the upper 70's. It is still kind of hard to walk too much due to my food drop but still nice to get out and do some walking which helps me regain my strength.

The first $6000 of that is going on two years. I sure wish I could find a lone at zero intereste that I can pay back when I want of if I want. Yes Carl and Sue are some of my best friends. They are going to be loading up their Airstream in early June and be gone to the west coast until sometime in Sep so i am going to miss them. Hopefully by that time I will be well enough to get out there to see them a well as some other very good friends and relatives

Luckly my insurance will cover the most of it but never the less it is getting costly. That figure does not count the $500 bill i get from a dr group or a 170 from a radiolgy group. The two bit one are of course from St Joe Hospital and KU Med center but then the drugs and dr. bills really add up. So far am able to keep my head above water but it i definately cutting into my bank account
