VIP Dinner with Randy

First of all thank you very much to my dear friend toto_too514 for giving up her seat next to Randy :). I was fortunate enough to be seated among friends (wirthwoman, Jule2009,later2nite and predec2) at Randy's table so everyone was very comfortable with each other.

Great report! It really was nice of Toto_too to let you have the seat next to Randy. I loved how the 3 of us and Dixie and Jule and Kim got to share a lovely dinner with each other and Randy. That memory will stand out in my mind forever.

Since you were right there where Gale was talking to him, did you see if Gale was kneeling on the floor to get eye level with him? I thought he was, but I couldn't tell for sure, and I didn't want to stand up and gawk!!! LOL

I forgot about Randy saying he went to the Santa Monica Pier to the trapeze school. I love that pier and used to go there all the time when I lived in L.A. I can just see him there on the flying trapeze.

Bummer that he won't be performing in the Berkshires this year.

Gale didn't quite kneel but did stoop low (half a squat? LOL) while showing the QAF book to Randy and pointing to a specific page. Now that was a bonus for all of us at the table.

Dinner was a lovely time with everyone, Randy included *g*

Just remember I'm the professional, ambidextrous, one-handed u-turner. It's a must driving skill in CA.

I forgot to add about our discussion too of our dessert and whether Lemon Bars was Justin's favorite. I remember Randy scratching his head and saying "Right, but I don't really remember". Poor guy, he sure was tired and we were making him think about QAF episodes.

It really was and I am just so happy that the con still happened with all the casts. They were wonderful throughout the day.
