Happy New Year from Amsterdam!
I'm in an internet cafe reading livejournal because I'm too high to try and conduct any more transactions for awhile. It's freezing, too. But this place, besides the "perks", really does rule. Beautiful. Simply beautiful and amazing and exciting. Really. I know, it's so cliche.

It's the day before I leave for Europe and my flight was cancelled. Yep---Air France, flight 71 was supposed to have me & two of my best friends on it tomorrow night at 9:20pm after I was stuffed with Christmas dinner and holiday cheer. This morning I was driving to work and the air was cool & crisp and there was a ton of dew on my car. I had a commuter cup full of my favorite Swork coffee, thanks to my lovely neighbor, and it just felt for a moment like I was in a mountain town or something instead of the LBC.
