OMG. Aaron took me out for dinner last night. It's a place we've been to several times and have always been pleased with. But last night I regretted going there as soon as we walked in the door. When you hear the news of a horrible explosion that devastates a town don't go looking up eye witness videos of it first thing in the morning. :(

I woke up feeling so tired. Out of sorts. One co-worker is sick. Another is coughing up a storm. One threw out her bad back...and so on. Everyone I was near today just felt awful. And then I hear the news that there's been a horrible bombing in Boston.

Some days you wake up and just know it's going to be a worse than usual bad day. :(

Today an Alberta clipper and a Texas low conspired to close Aaron's college and my office. YAY! Snow Day! We went out for breakfast and then took a slow trip on over the grocery store and bank. Work: So far so good I think. My manager is helpful, patient, and obviously in need of some help. I wouldn't say the tasks she's given me are unimportant, but I wouldn't say they are things someone with her experience should be doing. I'm not overly busy at the moment but I am learning lots.
