A Silly Weekend
I have loved Eric Idle from the first time I heard him chastising his patsy in "Search for the Holy Grail" for serenading him with "Bravely Bold Sir Robin" as he trolloped through the forest not on a horse. Bat
Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. We said goodbye to Bat. He had cancer in his kidneys and lymph nodes. We found out only a couple of weeks ago, but knew something terrible was happening to him. He was so skinny :(. I know it was his time ( Read more... ) -
A New Era
Aaron has graduated from college! He started an HVAC course in the fall of 2012 and received his diploma, with distinction, in the mail 2 weeks ago. His actual commencement is on Wednesday but he's decided not to go. I think that's a little strange but he's OK with it. Good bye Aunt V
Great Aunt V passed on today. She was an ox of a woman and I'm glad to have known her. I will miss her. At 90 she lead a great life and I wish her safe passage onto the next phase. -
Ashes Ashes!
Last night I was stepping out of my shower when all of a sudden *BLAM* down I go. Smashed my right knee on the bottom of the tub, my boobs on the edge of the tub, and my right hand shot out to the wall to get my balance (I think) but it ended up jammed on the floor outside the tub, toilet paper roll holder in pieces on the floor. iPod Touch Update
A few months ago Apple released an OS update. I didn't update my 5th gen iTouch right away, and heard lots of bad things about it...it kills battery life, takes up a large amount of space. I still haven't updated because I didn't want to deal with that crap. But slowly my apps are no longer being supported. So I'm going to have to update. Is ( Read more... ) -

I used to post on an online forum. I started going there about the same time I started posting here. Well the powers that be pulled the plug on it on Wednesday. They gave us fair warning, but really it was a shitty way for them to end the community. It's totally gone, all without a peep from the owners. Hello and Merry Christmas! I am working a steady temp job (they just asked me to stay on another 3 months yay!), and Aaron did really awesome in his fall semester. 1 more to go then he graduates and enters the real world, again.
