I gain a lot of amusement and fodder from reading livejournals and blogs and such. I'd say that's a good amount of the time I spend online--besides searching for music/watching movie trailers. There's like no happy medium in the car. temperature wise, that is. heated seats are a big plus though. big cheers for that.
I read one of the Shopaholic books, can't remember the title, but it was the one where they get engaged. Is the couple named Becky and Luke or did I pull that out my butt?
Maybe the problem with my friends is that they're the same friends from high school, aside from a few new ones. *sigh* I need to branch out.
It is funny when you're not taking yourself seriously or when you're getting a kick out of it. I just can't get on board with people seriously being like that. I don't know.
I just connected that you're the rockintheoc from ff.net. And I just went and read "Still Fighting It"... great story. Loved it.

Yep, it's Becky and Luke.

Since I was one of the only people from my school to not go to a UC school, I didn't know anyone here--thus, I had to start over. Sometimes branching out is good, but I wished I had some of my friends around sometimes for comfort.

1. i hate milk. kind of like you with bagels, but i used to drink like 10 glasses a day. one day i just stopped, and when I tried to drink it again a few years later I almost threw up. I only have it in cereal, and only if it's skim.

2. I've lived in VA my whole life (born/raised in Richmond, school in Roanoke) but am moving to NYC or LA after graduation. how cliche, I know.

3. I adore baseball, and was quite torn when my 2 favorite teams, StL & Boston actually played each other in the series.

4. celebrities i'd sleep with - almost every single one of them, but esp. adam, topher, jude, jake gyllenhaal & josh duhamel. and zach braff is my idea of the perfect boyfriend.

I only regularly started watching the OC in late Season 1 because I heard of this character who would make comic book references. As an ex-comic book collector I was intrigued. I also remember enjoying Adam Brody's performance on the Gilmore Girls. Seth and Sandy are hands down the best characters on the show. Kirsten's also cool being a fellow Canadian and all ( ... )

You should check out the early season 1 episodes, some of them are classics, and Adam Brody really shined. I started watching "The OC" because I'm from Orange County, but I had just moved away to go to college, so the show coming out was really good timing. Every week, I can turn on the tv and be reminded of home, even though it's not even filmed there. Secondly, I loved Adam on Gilmore Girls, and I was so upset when he wasn't on GG anymore, but I decided to check this his new show out for the benefit of the doubt. I still miss Dave though ( ... )
