Feeling a bit anxious this morning. The primarily reason for feeling anxious is that I am meeting some co-workers for a bike ride. Doesn't sound bad, except 1) I don't know them well, at all. So being the socially awkward person I am, it makes me nervous. 2) these co-workers are used to riding 30+ miles at a time, and I am not. I can ride 10 miles

They ended up having not just road bikes, but custom RACING bikes!!!! Holy crap, I have never biked so hard in my life! I had to quit on them about 12 miles into our ride and turn around to bike back home. I use the app MapMyRide and had an average speed of 15mph for the 24 mile round trip. I can't imagine how fast we were going the first 12 miles because I took my sweet time on the return 12 miles. I burned over 1000 calories that bike ride alone! It was insane. I don't think I'll be biking with them again any time soon. They need to slow down or I need to train a lot more to be able to go faster. Wow.... I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did. I took a 3 hour nap after that ride. My quads were cramping up for a few hours afterwards. It was intense! Lol!

And wow I bet it was beautiful!! I would say if I ever make it up there I'd like to ride too, but at this point I'm not sure if I'm making it there before you guys leave haha. Will you still be there next summer?
