These last two years have been crazy. This last year especially has been nuts. I don't regret it and I know I needed it because, well, I needed some serendipity in my life. So I had my goodbye bash tonight, it was fun and small with all the people I wanted to be there in tow. I'm still buzzing off the Democratic victory from yesterday so life is good. Victory.

Democrats have taken back the US House and it looks like the Senate. Madrid? The closest race in the country. We wont know who won for a few weeks it looks like. It was still a great experience in either case, one I'm glad I had a chance to take part in before I head out to Japan.

It feels good to win.
